The Gentlemen's Rule
Kieron talks about Chaos over at The Escapist. A game that swallowed up so many summer holidays, both days and nights, and two different groups of friends. The second group never seemed to accept the Gentlemen's Rule, though: that player-killing only begins after all the computer players are dead.
Oh, for a days of 'a stupid' King Cobra…

It was a game that had so many great moments built in. Like the moment when you realise that 'inflatable' Dragon standing next to you is actually still there after your Disbelieve and, :gulp:, isn't so inflatable after all. Then the same feeling in reverse when the Dragon's attacks then bounce off your, obviously very well-lined, wizard's robe. Superb.

And Turmoil, where you were never sure whether the game would simply crash rather than finish casting!
