Um, if Disney said this back in 2003, then why are we only hearing about it now? Something seems odd.

(And it's not like this will stop a US release. When the same thing happened to Kevin Smith's Dogma, the film was quickly snapped up by another distributor. So I don't think it's quite as bad as the article sounds, although it is discouraging, if not surprising, that Disney are blocking the film)

I meant to ask you if he'd said anything when you saw him (and yes, I'm still bitter ;-)).

To be fair, Disney do deny the tax allegation, but then they would, wouldn't they? And you do have to wonder why, when the film division is under so much pressure, they'd drop a film that will almost certainly make 10x more than it cost to produce…

But! A person from Florida who doesn't love all things Disney? Somewhere, a kitten is crying, Laura. THINK OF THE KITTENS.…

It is taking over our state! First the theme parks in Orlando, then the hotels in Orlando, then the cruise line in Cape Canaveral, then the resort in Vero Beach... where will it end??

Don't forget Celebration! 8-)

(and don't worry, I'm sure the Scientologists will prevent Disney from spreading too far. Ah, Florida ;-))
